Pré Docking Inspection Surveys

All measurements taken during any type of survey are recorded in a draft report. The draft report is a copy of the original results. A copy is available immediately after completion of the job.

While onboard, measured thicknesses are continuously recorded in the required templates and are constantly available for the attending surveyor’s review. If applicable, the measurements will be processed into electronic format according to class or owner requirements. In addition to the measurements, the original scantlings, minimum thicknesses and substantial corrosion limits are included in the template.

The final report will be presented in electronic format to the class within two weeks of completion of the job. The report will always be sent to the contractor, who will decide what is done with the report after completion. After the surveyor has verified each separate job, the document is finalized with his signature.
